Here's the solution, you can simply attach it to the three point hitch then use the mouse to adjust the height so the trailer is already hooked onto it, or as shown in the photo.
I'm also aware that it's not as 100% realistic as I use it, but as I always say, it's still a game.
Warning: Sometimes there is a bug where the PTO doesn't want to connect, just unplug everything and reconnect and then it should work again.
