The MIG-29 Mikoyan is a fourth-generation air superiority hunting designed by the Mikoyán Design Office in the Soviet Union during the 1970 The F-16 Fighting Falcon.
The MIG-29 entered service with the Soviet Air Force in 1983 and continues to use with the Russian Air Force, the Ukrainian Air Force, the Indian Air Force and in many other countries. It has been manufactured in several important variants, including the MIG-29M and the MIG-29K, and the most advanced version to date is the MIG-35.
The MIG-29 is known for its high maneuverability, long-distance combat capacity and its ability to operate from unprepared landing clues. It is a versatile airplane that has been used in a variety of roles, from Aire-Aire combat to Air-Tierra missions
