The map is great. There's 3 of us that play dedicated on console. The hedges are a pain and after needing to restart, we can't get motivated to trim away hedges again, so we're back to our previous map. 
If the hedges were removable via construction, we would be there permanently I believe.
Love the map! That one thing is keeping us away.

@Ooggar Sorry to hear that but hopefully one day you will be motivated to play the map again.

There is an update with Giants that will address the crops that are not working correctly, this was an issue that was introduced late into private testing that was missed. Hopefully the update will be available soon.

Why can't they ever put extra crops or atleast alfalfa on any of their maps.

@nunya Maybe one day Giants will implement Alfalfa but expecting map makers to add modded crops into their maps should not be expected. The fact that 90% of maps that do have extra crops do not use them in any kind of way other than harvest and sell makes those crops pointless for anything other than cash crops. For myself i keep to base game crops as that reduces protential issues with code changes giants might make which in turn effects the map.
