the Mitsubishi Pajero is renowned in the 4X4 world. Several times winner of the Dakar Rally, the Japanese franchisor is one of the benchmarks in the segment.
But, in Spanish-speaking countries it is called Montero because "Pajero" does not sound the same. Indeed, "Pajero" in Spanish has a rather dubious translation and alludes to "solitary pleasure".
