JCL Agricultural Equipment is proud to present:
International Series 86 tractors!
This project started in May and wasn't resumed until mid-June and after that it was a constant job of modeling,
take action from our real life 1486, and drink coca cola.
I think this would be the most accurate 86 series yet in farm simulation, with referenced brochures,
and unearthed forums.. from 2008 probably. Enough talk, let's carry on.
This pack includes the
786 - 70 HP
886 - 86 HP
986 - 105 HP
Hydro 186 - 105 HP
1086 - 131 HP
1486 - 145 HP
1586 - 161 HP
We believe this range can meet your farming needs with incredible hauling capability in the thickest soils and comfort to rival the family car. (before 1980s)
And a nice addition to the lineup, the Hydro 186 with a hydrostatic transmission only found in IH tractors, including any speed for chopping, hay baling and loader work .
Please take the time to enjoy it, as I put a lot of time and effort into it, as I hope you will in the virtual fields.
And here is the description of the mod for those who are interested.
International Series 86 (786, 886, 986, 1086, Hydro 186, 1486, 1586)
Also known as the "Pro Ag Line", the 86 was proposed as the new big deal in farm equipment, the biggest being the new control center to be designed around operator comfort.
The 86 was introduced in 1976 and in production from the 1977 year. During this time they offered the 886 in the 1586, 86 in the 162, and had the tan panels and black stripe.
To promote the 86 line and other tractors produced at the time, IH created an event called the "Red Power Showdown".
During these events, IH would put its tractors through their paces and demonstrate just how much and what to expect from its tractors.
The 86s used in the Red Power Showdown and other events had different styling just for those occasions, i.e. Red Power signs and decals, plus an IH branded iron decal (I don't never drew cus lazy).
After these events, the Red Power tractors were sold at a lower price due to the hours already spent on them.
In 1981 IH offered a special line of 86 tractors, these tractors had closed center hydraulics (i.e. the hydraulics only operate on demand) as their main feature.
The Special Race's decal strip has also been updated: a thin red stripe has been added above the black stripe.
These tractors are called the 86 Series Tri-Stripe because they have three colors in the side stripe: red, black and white.
The 786, 70 HP, was offered in 1981 with the Tri Stripes as the 686 was discontinued.
