The Landbauer HB6 is a modern barn for hay and straw. Future-oriented architecture combined with modern technology characterize this building from the Farmer MOD series "Modern Architecture in Agriculture". Hay and straw are pressed with 20 bar air pressure in two special air pressure storage chambers. The interior is made of robinia (acacia) and oak hardwoods. The central temperature of the hay chamber is kept constant at 18°C by means of a computer-controlled infrared temperature sensor system, regardless of outside conditions. Manual and automatic lighting as well as a small silo terminal with display are available. The system is completely autonomous thanks to an integrated solar system.
